Yohann Bénard is Amazon’s Public Policy Director EU Digital and France. Before joining Amazon (2018), Yohann held senior roles at Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia, including Director General of Alcatel Submarine Networks. He began his career in French government, serving as judge at the Council of State (administrative supreme court), advisor to the Prime Minister and deputy chief of staff to Economy Minister Christine Lagarde. He authored 100+ articles in French law journals and serves on the French American Foundation board and Paris Peace Forum's Digital Affairs Committee.
