He holds a degree in Physics from La Sapienza University and a PhD in Mathematics from SISSA in Trieste. He has conducted research and taught at universities and centers of excellence in the United States (Princeton), Europe (Berlin TU, Paris IHP), Japan (Titech), China, and the United Arab Emirates. He is a member of the AI committees of the Aspen Institute Italia and the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. Author of over 130 scientific articles, three monographs, and the essay Rivoluzione Intelligenza Artificiale (Dedalo, 2023), he is a member of the Academy of Sciences of Bologna and editor of its Annals.
