Matteo Clerici is Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Insubria (Como, Italy), where he directs the Como Lake Institute of Photonics (CLIP). He was previously Full Professor at the University of Glasgow, where he founded and led the Ultrafast Nonlinear Optics (UNO) group. His research focuses on quantum and nonlinear optics, terahertz photonics, and epsilon-near-zero physics. He has authored more than 75 peer-reviewed papers, holds 3 patents, has delivered over 60 invited talks at major international conferences, and serves as editor of Optics Letters.
