Luca Manzoni

Luca Manzoni is an associate professor of computer science at the University of Trieste. He has published over 150 scientific papers in international conferences and journals and in 2022, he received the SIGEVO Impact Award. He has been principal investigator (PI) or local coordinator of research projects at both national and European levels. His research interests are in the fields of evolutionary computation, natural computing models, and the application of AI techniques to oceanography, sustainability, and the natural sciences.
