Giuseppe Francesco Italiano

Giuseppe F. Italiano, Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, worked as a Research Staff member at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Centre (USA) before returning to Italy as a full professor. He is currently Full Professor of Computer Engineering and Vice-Rector for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Skills at Luiss Guido Carli University, where he is also Director of the AI4Society Research Centre, the Master's in Cybersecurity and the Master's in Artificial Intelligence. In 2016, he was appointed Fellow of the European Association for Theoretical Computer Science (EATCS). He has been a consultant to major international companies and has participated in the founding of various technology start-ups.
