Giulia Del Pace

Research Fellow, University of Florence

Giulia Del Pace is an experimental physicist in the field of ultracold atoms and quantum gases. Since her undergraduate training, her research has been focused on the study of strongly interacting fermionic atomic superfluids and their out-of-equilibrium dynamics. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Florence, earning her master's degree in Physical Sciences and Astrophysics in 2017. She then received his Ph.D. from the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Florence in 2021, doing experimental research in the ultracold atoms laboratories of the European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy (LENS). After an initial postdoc at CNR-INO, she worked as a postdoc at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), studying the out-of-equilibrium dynamics of fermionic superfluids coupled to optical cavities. Since 2023 she has been a researcher at the University of Florence, where she is pursuing atomtronics studies aimed at the realization of quantum technologies with ultracold atoms.
