Federico Protto

President and CEO, Cellnex Italia

Federico Protto is a leading figure in the telecommunications sector in Italy and has extensive international experience. He is currently CEO and Chairman of Cellnex Italia and CEO Alpine Cluster (Italy and Switzerland) of Cellnex Telecom. He is Vice President of Asstel and a member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committees of various companies and organizations. He was General Manager of Intred until March 2024 and CEO and General Manager of Retelit from 2015 to 2023. He has held senior positions at T-Systems, Verizon Business, and Tim. He graduated with honors from the Politecnico di Milano, has a Master's degree in ICT from Cefriel, and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
