Enrico Giovannini

Enrico Giovannini is full professor of Economic Statistics and Sustainable Development at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata.” He was Minister of Sustainable Infrastructure and Mobility in the Draghi Government and Minister of Labor and Social Policies in the Letta Government. He is co-founder and Scientific Director of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS). He has served as head of the Statistics Directorate and Chief Statistician of the OECD and President of ISTAT. In October 2014, he was appointed “Cavaliere di Gran Croce al Merito della Repubblica.” He is the author of more than 150 articles and eight books on statistical and economic topics.
