Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer, TIM

Since May 2022, Elio Schiavo has held the position of Chief Enterprise and Innovative Solutions Officer at TIM, where he leads TIM Enterprise, the company’s business unit that serves as a digital engine for the country alongside Public Administrations and Enterprises. TIM Enterprise – made up of over 6,500 professionals – leverages the specialist expertise of TIM Group companies: Noovle (where he also serves as CEO), focused on Cloud & AI solutions and services; Olivetti (where he is Chairman), the Group’s center of excellence for IoT, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, and intelligent data management; and Telsy, specialized in quantum security, cybersecurity, and communications protection.

Since October 2024, he has also been Chairman of Polo Strategico Nazionale, the only example of a Sovereign Cloud at the European level, promoted by the Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), with the mission of supporting the migration of Public Administrations to a secure and resilient cloud.

Schiavo has held senior executive positions across four continents (Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas) and has extensive experience at Apple Inc., where he served as General Manager in the Americas. Previously, he was CEO at Consodata SPA, Katalog AG, Thomsonlocal.com, and Telegate AG, all companies of the Seat Pagine Gialle Group (then controlled by Telecom Italia) operating in the fields of Big Data & Marketing Intelligence, Digital Media, UK Yellow Pages, and Telco/Media.

In 2023, he was awarded an Honorary Master’s Degree in Data Science and Innovation Management by the University of Salerno.
