2024 - Present: Dean at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana.

2016 – 2024: Vice Dean in the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Responsible for Bachelor and Master Curricula for 31 (thirty-one) program studies offered from the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Coordinator of the teaching activities and program studies in the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

2016 – Present: Member of the Academic Senate of the University of Tirana, Albania.

2003 – Present: Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana, (Albania).

My scientific contribution mainly involves the directions related to Optimization, Numerical Analysis, Parallel Programming, Complex Network Systems. In an academic career of 20 years, I am involved in lecturing in the Bachelor and Master of Science courses at the University of Tirana and I have supervised 3 PhD students and 2 ongoing PhD ones.

Although my scientific background is in Data Science, my research is directed in the axes of the implementation of AI/ML algorithms in medicine (epidemiology, genomic and microbiome datasets) and social and political networks focused on the ranking, communicability, clustering properties of entities.  I am author and co-author in university and pre-university texts, translator and adapter in pre-university Mathematics texts. Member of several national and international associations.
