Domenico Savoca

President, National Association of Mining Engineers (ANIM)

Since 2008, he has been President of ANIM, the National Association of Mining Engineers.
Formerly Chief Engineer of the Mining Districts of Milan and Carrara, he served as an Executive at the Lombardy Region from 2001 to 2015, where he was responsible for the department in charge of developing quarry and mine extraction activities, as well as hydrocarbon extraction operations.
He is a member of national working groups for drafting safety regulations in extractive activities and updating national mining legislation, as well as European committees and study groups focused on raw materials.
