Daniele Manca

Deputy Editor, Corriere della Sera

Daniele Manca is deputy editor and columnist for Corriere della Sera, where he has worked since 1994. He has followed and organized coverage of Italy's major economic and political events: from the stock market boom of '86 to Mani Pulite, from the birth of the euro to the Fiat bailout and the European Central Bank, from the Maastricht Treaty to the Lisbon Treaty, from the 2008 crisis to the birth of all recent governments. He was among the architects of the digital turn at Corriere della Sera.

He is director of the Master's in Journalism at IULM University, where he is also an adjunct professor of “Journalism in the Digital Age.” 

He is a member of the Fuori Quota Scientific Committee, the Scientific Committee of 100esperte area Economics and Finance and Media Ambassador of ENWE (European Network for Women Excellence). He is a member of the Steering Committee of the Osservatorio Banca e Impresa 2030 and was awarded by President Sergio Mattarella the honor of Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic for the promotion of culture.
