Alessio Butti

Undersecretary of State for Technological Innovation, Presidency of the Council of Ministers

Born in Como in 1964, he was elected to the Chamber of Deputies for the first time in 1992 (11th legislature). He served as a deputy in the 13th, 14th and 18th legislatures and as a senator in the 15th, 16th and 19th legislatures.

He has worked in telecommunications, radio and television, cloud computing, data protection, big tech and 5G. Since 31 October 2022, he has been Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for Innovation.
