Alessandra Pedrocchi

Alessandra Pedrocchi is a professor of Bioengineering at Milan Polytechnic University, where she teaches Neuroengineering and Biomedical Instrumentation and directs the Rehabtech Master's programme. She is one of the founders of the NearLab laboratory and co-founder of the interdepartmental we-Cobot laboratory on wearable collaborative robotics and head of POLIMINT, a joint research platform between POLIMI and the National Cancer Institute (2025). She works in computational neuroscience, neurorehabilitation technologies, and reliable and explainable AI models, especially in oncology. She is co-founder of the start-ups Agade s.r.l. and AllyArm s.r.l.
