Alberto Barachini

Alberto Barachini, a professional journalist and Italian politician. He is currently Undersecretary of State to the Prime Minister's Office with responsibility for information and publishing. Barachini began his journalistic career working with “Il Tirreno” and then worked for the Mediaset Group. Holding prominent positions as head of service and anchor of TG4, correspondent and editor-in-chief of Tgcom24, Barachini was a Senator of the Republic in the 18th and 19th Legislatures and chairman of the Rai Supervisory Commission.
