Cosmos, the new show by Evolution Dance Theater, takes the audience on a journey through unknown worlds, where science and understanding give way to imagination. In free fall between immensity and solitude, in the eternal night of intergalactic space, planets and stars appear to us luminous and alluring; remote spaces, full of harmony and beauty, seem to give shape to our dreams; hypnotic and visionary creatures move between light and darkness. All this wandering finally brings us back to our small, fragile world, lost in a cosmic ocean vaster than our boldest imagination. One world, amid the immensity of worlds.
Evolution Dance Theater is an innovative and thrilling fusion of dance, art, acrobatics, magic, and illusion. It presents shows that have captivated and mesmerized audiences throughout Italy and beyond. Created in 2009 from the artistic partnership of directors and choreographers Anthony Heinl (formerly Momix) and Nadeesha Casavecchia, it quickly established itself with success both nationally and internationally.
The artists who make up the company are dancers, illusionists, contortionists, and gymnasts who bring to the stage powerful performances, enhanced by futuristic lighting, special effects, interactive sets, and an engaging musical selection.
